Don’t Skip the Boring Parts of the Bible
I'm not gonna lie, I was awfully tempted to skip through Ezra 2... Nothing but a list of names. What could this possibly teach me about God? Well good thing I finished it, because God did show me something. Was he was really concerned about these men? Random people who, other than being part of the remnant returning to Israel from Babylon, were really quite insignificant. Well, we do find their names inscribed for eternity in God's Word! No. No one is insignificant to God. He cares for us all and wants a personal relationship with us.
